Project 1: AI-Powered Urban Flood Risk Mapping

Background

Rapid urbanization and climate variability have increased flood risks across many African cities. Traditional flood assessment methods are often labor-intensive and depend on fragmented datasets. Arybit developed an AI-assisted geospatial workflow to automate flood susceptibility analysis using satellite imagery and spatial analytics.

Objectives

  • Develop an automated flood assessment workflow.
  • Integrate satellite imagery with terrain and rainfall data.
  • Produce decision-support maps for planners.
  • Demonstrate cloud-based geospatial processing.

Solution & Technology Stack

The solution combines Google Earth Engine, Sentinel-2 imagery, Digital Elevation Models, and rainfall datasets with machine learning models. The stack includes Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, React, Docker, and Azure.

Deliverables & Outcomes

The project produced an automated processing workflow, flood susceptibility maps, an interactive GIS dashboard with an API, and reporting tools. Key outcomes include automated analysis, reduced manual processing, and a reusable geospatial workflow for climate intelligence.

Platform Development

Project 2: Arybit Intelligence CORE

Status: Pilot

A modular enterprise AI platform for governments and enterprises seeking secure deployment of generative AI. Features include AI Assistants, RAG, Document Intelligence, and multi-agent workflows. It supports SaaS, Private Cloud, Hybrid, On-Premise, and Air-Gapped deployments.
