1. Policy Statement

Arybit Technologies is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, accountability, and professionalism. The company maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward corruption, bribery, fraud, and unethical business practices in all forms. Our anti-corruption practices are guided by Kenyan anti-corruption legislation, the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC) principles, and international development partner integrity standards.

This policy aims to prevent bribery and corruption, establish ethical business standards, and provide guidance for all employees, directors, consultants, contractors, and partners. It applies to all business activities, including procurement, government engagements, and partnerships.

Commitment, Definitions, Bribery & Gifts

4. Commitment Against Corruption

Arybit Technologies prohibits bribery, facilitation payments, fraud, extortion, kickbacks, improper influence, conflicts of interest, and misuse of company resources. No employee or representative may offer, promise, give, request, or accept anything of value intended to improperly influence a decision.

5. Definition of Corruption

Corruption is the misuse of entrusted authority, position, or resources for personal or organizational advantage. Examples include paying money to improperly obtain business, offering gifts to influence procurement decisions, manipulating evaluation processes, or concealing conflicts of interest.

6. Bribery Prohibition

Arybit prohibits both the giving and receiving of bribes. Employees and representatives must not offer payments or benefits to influence decisions, nor may they request or accept improper payments or benefits from others.

7. Gifts, Hospitality and Entertainment

While legitimate business hospitality may support professional relationships, any gifts or hospitality must be reasonable, appropriate, have a legitimate business purpose, and not be intended to influence decision-making. Employees must not provide or accept gifts that could reasonably be interpreted as an attempt to influence a business decision.

Engagements, Conflicts & Integrity

8. Government and Public Sector Engagements

Personnel involved in public sector engagements must maintain transparency, follow all procurement requirements, avoid improper influence, and provide accurate information. Arybit prohibits any attempt to improperly influence public officials or procurement processes.

9. Conflict of Interest

Employees and representatives must avoid situations where personal interests conflict with professional responsibilities, such as personal financial interests affecting business decisions. All actual or potential conflicts must be disclosed and reviewed.

10. Procurement Integrity

Arybit maintains fair and transparent procurement practices, committing to honest proposal submissions, accurate information, and fair supplier selection. The company does not participate in bid manipulation, collusion, or other unethical competitive practices.

11. Fraud Prevention

Arybit prohibits fraudulent activities including falsifying documents, misrepresenting capabilities, creating false financial records, or misusing project funds. All business records must be accurate and complete.

Third Parties, Reporting & Controls

12. Third-Party Responsibilities

Arybit expects suppliers, contractors, and partners to comply with ethical business practices. Where appropriate, agreements will include anti-bribery and ethical conduct requirements.

13. Reporting Concerns

Employees and stakeholders are encouraged to report suspected corruption, bribery, fraud, or other unethical behavior through appropriate company channels. Arybit encourages good-faith reporting and prohibits retaliation against individuals who raise genuine concerns.

14. Investigation and Response

Reported concerns will be reviewed appropriately. The response process may include investigation, documentation, corrective action, and process improvement. Confirmed violations may result in disciplinary action, contract termination, or legal action.
